Mark your calendar! Our Annual Sewing Retreat at the Blue Gate Garden Inn in Shipshewana will be held Tuesday, May 6 through Friday, May 9. We're keeping it to weekdays again this year to stay away from weekend family activities.

   Your registration fee includes one 6 foot table, padded banquet-style chair and trash can. Extra tables are available for an additional cost. At least 2 ironing and cutting stations will be provided. Feel free to bring your own equipment, chair, etc. The room is ours for 4 days. We will be sewing in the Magnolia Room again this year. It’s great because it’s a big room on the first floor and there are doors that open out to the parking lot so we can unload and load easily.

    There will be a FREE table for items you would like to send to a new home. Just remember if you bring it and no one takes it home you are responsible for taking it back.  There will also be a snack table for those who wish to bring snack items to share.  The Blue Gate provides water and coffee for us during the day.

   Schedule is as follows: Sleeping Room – Check in on Tuesday, May 6, noon - Check out Friday, May 9, 11 a.m. Magnolia Room – Sewing starts Tuesday, May 6, noon - Leave by Friday, May 9,
5 p.m.

   You will need to reserve you own hotel room. You must tell them you are with Fort Wayne ASG to get the reduced room rate. Call the Blue Gate: 260-768-4725.

Registration fee for Magnolia sewing room is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Extra table $10 for the 4 days. Cost by the day is $20.
